Have you Ever been Swept Off Your Feet?

In both cases – whether the bubble was inflated with positive or negative energy – the participants in the bubble are being swept away further and further away from actual physical reality and start to see everything either ‘extremely negatively’ or ‘extremely positively’ – neither experience is grounded in reality – because the physical is neither positive or negative – it just is what it is.

And Then You Crash – Meconomics

In this little series, we’ve been investigating the phenomenon of inflation, how we in our daily lives participate in ‘inflating our reality’ and so, how we are on a personal level participating in the same principles/dynamics that we see playing out on a bigger scale when it comes to inflation, speculative bubbles and financial market crashes.

Humanity Washed Ashore

This was an excerpt of just one of the stories about the boy. Over the last few days, dozens have been written and published on various major news sites. What is more striking than the content of the posts, is the comments that are left on these articles. What is humanity’s response to such images, to such news?

Day 221: Are Humans Equal? - Equality and Human Rights – Part 2

This Blog is a continuation to: Day 219: Equality and Human Rights – it is suggested to read the previous post for context.

In the last blog we ended with Plato’s assessment that humans were essentially unequal within being ‘different’. It’s interesting that the concept of Equality was not investigated further – if Equality did not lie within one’s characteristics which would define one’s position and function in society, then why are we not looking further? Could our Equality be somewhere else?

The point that every human shares, the point that all Living Beings share – is that they are alive. We are all Equally, living, breathing, beings – Here – on this Planet. So whether you are a person with the characteristics to make a philosopher or a person with the characteristics to make a baker – the fact still stands that you are a human and you are alive. This stands indeterminate of the variety of characteristics we share among ourselves that make us ‘different’. So even though we are ‘different’, we can, and are still, equal: in Life – and should treat each other accordingly.

Instead, we’ve taken the premise “We are different, and thus we are unequal” and have used this to justify why we do not value and respect one another equally, and used this as the foundation to create separation among ourselves – and in essence, alienate ourselves from one another, where we end up believing that just because we have certain capabilities that allow us to ‘climb to the top’ in society – that this means that we are ‘better’ and that those who do not share these capabilities are ‘less’ and should be treated accordingly. From this, we have created a system of ‘fairness’, a system of ‘merit’ – where you are treated ‘as you deserve’. We look at what a person can do and want to distribute resources according to what one has done with their abilities, skills and talents. Within this, we do not realise that one’s abilities, skills and talents – are completely arbitrary.

They are arbitrary in two ways:
In the first place they are arbitrary because one just happened to be born with a natural ‘knack’ or ‘gift’ for a particular point in reality. You may have been born with a ‘feel for music’, but you may as well have been born having a gift for building things or putting things together. This feel for music could have given you the possibility of becoming a wealthy music produce, while having your building skills may have led you to being a carpenter who barely gets by. So, given that we may naturally be good at things which differ from person to person – placing all one’s value into this limited point leads to two human beings living and experiencing a great difference in Living Standards, as the direct result of how we value different people due to their skillset, more over others.

Secondly they are arbitrary, because our skills, abilities and talents are closely linked to our environment. If you are born in a wealthy family, you have the resources available to develop, practice and perfect your skills. Very likely, you will be given a head start in society through your connections that place you in a profitable position. You could have been born with the exact same skillset, abilities and talents in a whole different environment. You could have been born in a family where resources were scarce – so scarce in fact, that your mother is unable to feed you adequately, stunting your growth and limiting your ability to live. So scarce, that by the age of six – your mother is crying over your lifeless body.

The same way, with the necessary resources available, everyone can be taught to be effective human beings – but this unfortunately, this is not happening because resources are currently not made available for everyone – only for those who can ‘afford’ it, those who apparently ‘deserve’ it.

So you see, measuring one’s Equality and within that measuring one’s Value based on a human’s skillset and abilities – is completely irrational and does not make any sense at all. The only common sensical thing to do – is to treat and value each one Equally on the premise of Life – within the realisation that I could have easily been you, and you could have easily been me. This means that if I want to able to live a dignified life, that you should be able to do this to – because after all, I could have been living my life in your shoes.

Day 211: Labour Flexibility and Equal Money Capitalism

In Zimbabwe, the Reserve Bank has been laying off people as part of desperate cost-cutting measure. The employees that had been retrenched have not received their full retrenchment packages that they are supposed to get.

In the meantime, people are unemployed and are finding it hard to find a new job, with many resorting to work in the informal section. In Third World countries like Zimbabwe, entire families are often dependent on a single person’s income. This leaves many families suddenly without the necessary funds to pay for their medical aid, while kids are not going to school anymore since they can no longer afford to pay the school fees.

Some have gone as far as killing themselves as they succumbed to the stress of unemployment and no retrenchment package in sight.

In the light of all of this, one economist had the following perspective:

“The idea that people are deserving of compensation if their employers can no longer retain them has never been properly justified. The employees’ compensation for their labour was given to them as their wage every month while they were working. Why should compensation continue when their work is no longer needed?” Robertson told IPS.”

This is your typical ‘Free Martketeer’ opinion – where people are no longer considered as being living beings, but are reduced to mere commodities, which one should be able to hire and fire as one pleases. They also have a fancy word for it: “Labour Flexibility”.

Obviously a statement like this will only come from someone whose job is secure and will not find themselves being thrown around by the merciless tides of the labour market any time soon. The Corporation as an entity on its own has gained a superior status than living, breathing, human beings. The corporation is a dead thing – it’s merely an assembled structure. Yet, it’s the corporations who are in the position of ensuring life security to people, and when this is threatened there are consequences:

““The suffering of the retrenched workers is transferred to their families, children and spouses. Tension and stress grows, leading to unwarranted domestic disputes and eventual violence and abuse of children,” Bohwasi told IPS.”

Within Equal Money Capitalism, we get this.

That is why Labour Flexibility within Equal Money Capitalism will take on a whole new dimension. Instead of Labour Flexibility entailing the freedom of the corporation to hire and fire with no restrictions in place – Labour Flexibility will be a principle of understanding that one require to be Flexible with Labour, as it is clear that one will not always be able to occupy the same job position. This may be due to fluctuations in the needs and requirements of the population, the environment or technological innovation. Thus, within this flexibility, the corporation ensures that one can continue employment elsewhere (such as the compassion department), as the corporation understands and realizes that the only capital which matters is the Capital as Life as the employees who bring life into the corpus of the Corporation– and will thus tend to its Capital with the utmost care and respect.

Day 181: Applied Equality in Equal Money Capitalism

Within the current socio-economic system and liberal ideology – human beings are held as being of ‘equal value’. This equality is only held as a form of ‘abstract equality’ where in thought one can think of others as having ‘equal value’, but where in word and deed, this equality is not expressed.

People are thus not equally valued on the premise of Life, but are valued in so far that they have particular talents and skill sets. Since not everyone is born with the same skill sets: not everyone is valued equally, which is exactly how things operate currently, where different people have different values – whether you look at a CEO of a company or the janitor, or even at wages cross-borders, where say an Indian’s life-value is less than that of an American.

Valuing and giving people Life support according to one’s position and skills in this world, is thus not an effective way of practically applying the principle that ‘everyone is of equal value’.

The solution would thus be to go back to the initial point of equality, as you are here, you are Life – I am here, I am Life – thus common sensically, we require to be supported equally.

Within Equal Money Capitalism, access to resources is still granted through employment, and thus employment becomes a guarantee. Within this, each one will receive an equal income which in fact reflects the liberal principle of holding each one as being of equal value.

This will transform the concept of Equality to an actual principle of Integrity rather than the feel-good word with empty promises that it has become today. Living actual equality will reduce stress and depression immensely as one is not constantly put in a position where one is under-valued – each one’s value is recognised equally. This will also bring into effect the aim of individualism as outlined within liberalism, whereby we have constructed a society wherein individuals can flourish and develop and become the best possible version of themselves.

Life-Force instead of Market-Force

Price is no longer going to be based on what the market dictates – there will be no more “market” force within Equal Money Capitalism – what will drive and regulate the economy, is the Life-force.

The Life-Force says that the Market-Force never looked after the life force – and therefore, you have lives that suffer. Thus we move to a Life-force that is based on ‘Capital’ as the People and not a Market-force which is based on ‘things’ and ‘products’ – Life becomes prior: the economy should be about sustaining Life effectively, not ‘selling stuff for the sake of money’.

AS such the market should not dictate – the value of each person’s Life must dictate the price of the product. It’s completely different. And that’s real ‘fair-trade’.

Expression and Creative Licensing

This will be more a ‘hobby’ point. For those people whose only income is derived from such activities, they’d have to be part of a greater collective like a Cultural Centre where many points of expression are explored and presented, where the general public can come and check it out and participate in community projects. It will be a place of coming together, having fun events, meeting people – socialising, which are all things people really enjoy.

In essence it’s about self-expression. You want the freedom to express. You will have the freedom to express and you will have the support that will give you the freedom to express. The concept of ‘ownership’ is only relevant to those points that are necessary to make your life function, like a house, a car – things like that. The other things are not really an ownership, because there’s nothing new. You’re simply expressing something that already exists. You are using notes in a particular sequence -- which forms a melody. The melody already existed - it’s just a coincidence that you’re the one that came up with that particular melody. The same goes for the lyrics of a song: the words you use for a song already exist, it’s just coincidence that you come up with it or another person comes up with it – it’s equally possible.

So it’s not about ownership there, or about having a copyright, or controlling it. That’s exactly the point we want to move away from – control. So that people can express themselves, if they like it.

Day 161: The Principle of Equality within an Equal Money System

The principle of Equality is directly linked to the principle of Honoring the Right to Life.

Within our current socioeconomic and political system, Life is not valued as a Right, but something each one has to ‘earn’, and within that it has become a privilege. Money has become the medium through which one is able to access those goods and services that ensure one’s subsistence. One’s ‘Right to Life’ is not a given, but restricted to those who have money. This way of doing things within the current world system is reflective of what we value as a society, which indicates that money is valued over Life.

Many religions and ideologies promote the concept of Equality but have so far failed to bring the point of Equality to a level of practical implementation that can be lived by, where the concept of Equality merely remains in the realm of the abstract and ‘theory’.

Within an Equal Money System, the point of having ‘equal money’ is to assist with the psychological harmonization of the human into a harmonious character that no longer lives in fear of his own survival, but lives as Life, gives as Life and receives as Life - equally.

Since we’ve allowed ourselves to invest value into the concept of money, we use money, and more specifically ‘equal money’ as an interim step within the Equality Principle and the Equality Constitutional Development to bring about a psychological re-connection: through distributing money equally, we are “equally distributing value” through what money represents.

This is only a temporary point to rectify the psychological damage that has been done by money and our ideas of money, debt, power, choice, fairness, etc. Once this point of psychological disharmony has been corrected, money as a concept in itself will disappear completely as it will have lost all relevance.

Day 156: Honoring the Right to Life in an Equal Money System

Honoring the Right to Life

To understand the Principle of Honoring the Right to Life, first must be understood what Life is.

Changing the form Life takes on does not change Life - Life remains the same. So, whether the Life is a sperm or an egg, or whether it is ‘merged’ or ‘fused’ into a new being – that new being is not a ‘new’ Life Form. It’s just Life in a new form, but it’s the same Life. Therefore, even if you have an abortion, you are not ‘taking’ a Life, you are stopping the Form that that Life will take from taking Form. Because allowing Life to take that Form would, for instance, cause disharmony. So, within altering the form of Life, you’re not in essence, causing any harm. If that were so and you walk on the grass and you kill lots of animals and bugs – then you would be under the Law of Karma for eternity – because you are doing it every single day. There is, as such, also no difference between eating a vegetable or a fruit or an animal, you are changing the form of Life into another form of Life, which would come out of your body as shit, which then again becomes the manure, the support for the plants, for instance, to produce fruit or to produce grass so that the animal can eat it, so that the cycle can continue.

So, for instance, in the case of facing the question of having an abortion or not – one will look at the whole point from a perspective of harmony and disharmony. The guidelines on how to assess whether allowing a child to be born would be Best for All and in fact Honor Life, will be decided upon together. Within this, the central question that will be required of an answer is: What or how is the Life going to be of this being; is this Life going to be free from limitation? If it is not, and there is a high possibility for a disease or a genetic problem to manifest – then why would we make that Life suffer? The claim that one’s baby should be born regardless of its quality of Life because it is ‘a part of you’ is not valid, because everything is a part of you – Always! One’s belief does not change that.

What also requires to be understood is the fact that – because the Form Life takes on does not determine the Life, all Life is Equal, and thus – requires to be Equally Honored.

Therefore, the Principle of Honoring the Right to Life should not be understood in terms of not causing ANY harm or giving every baby the right to be born. It does, however, imply to eradicate all unnecessary harm and to ensure that all Life forms experience the Best Life possible.

Day 139: The Time is Ripe for Water Privatization - Catastroika

Professionals in the water industry, representing privately owned businesses and public utilities have published a survey indicating that now would be a good time to start privatizing on water – as water is getting scares, more capitalizing can be done!

Our system knows no scruples – hand it water scarcity and all it sees is $$$MONEY$$$.

The Earth provides resources for free: there’s water, there’s air, there’s land – it’s all just here, and we’re all here – why should it belong to some and not to others?

If Capitalism is all about “working hard for your money” and “being rewarded for your hard work and talent” – isn’t taking money from the Earth’s resources, that the EARTH produced: cheating?

Where’s Earth’s share in all of this? Earth provided all of these resources, she did all the work – wouldn’t it then make sense that we give something back for all her hard work? Where’s Earth’s share of all the profits in the world? Without Earth – there would be no profit.

Water is a basic necessity for all life forms – you can’t just privatize it and restrict its access and within that decide who gets to access a life sustaining matter and who doesn’t – that’s short for murder. If water is getting scarce, we shouldn’t privatize and ‘ride the wave’ for the sake of profit – only psychopaths would take such a route -- it’s in essence a move to ‘privatize life’. We should rather look at why water is scarce and what we can do to resolve this problem.

As we can see in the documentary Catastroika, water privatization does not work – it only works for those owning the companies who can capitalize on the water until the whole project goes to ruin and then gets handed back to the public who are left with repairing and upgrading to make it work for the people.

Privatizing on water is an infringement on the Right to Life

Day 100: Will a Doctor's Handwriting be Legible in an Equal Money System?

"Two people in the United States just died in the last hour. Seventeen more will die in the next 7 to 8 hours. Over a year, that number will accumulate to about 7,000.

The reason? Medical errors that include misread or otherwise misinterpreted handwritten prescriptions. Believe it. This means that doctors are being sloppy, pharmacies are making mistakes and people are getting dead.
"

Source: http://www.kevinmd.com/blog/2010/12/medical-errors-involve-handwritten-prescriptions.html

So - what's the deal with doctors not writing properly?

The story I was told when I asked my mom about it, is that doctors study for a very long time. And during their studies at university, they have to take note of almost everything the professor is saying - and they have to do that for years on end. And because of having to write really fast during their studies, their handwriting 'suffers' under it - in that it becomes less and less possible for someone else to understand what the medical student is writing.

Now - that's a nice story, and sure - we all know doctors study for several years, and yes, they probably have to write a lot. But, once a practitioner, you're not studying anymore and you can't use that excuse anymore. Seriously - it only takes a few days to re-program your handwriting by practicing a new one. I used to do it all the time in high school, whenever I wanted to try out a 'new personality', I would change my handwriting and after a few days of practice, there it was!

So - I'm sure if I as a teenager could do it, that doctors could too. So, why aren't they?

From where I'm standing, it seems doctors use their handwriting as a status-symbol - a way to lift themselves above others in society - because 'look at how much I have studied!', 'look at how much knowledge I have!'.

The fact is, however, that writing out a prescription is part of someone being a doctor, and no matter how much knowledge you have - if you can't write your prescriptions in a way that it is legible, not only to the pharmacist, but to the patient as well - then you're a crappy doctor.

In refusing to change their handwriting, doctors are actually stating that their egos are more important than the health of their patients - and these are the people we entrust our health and our lives with?

In an Equal Money System, things would be different. Obviously, because there will be no money and thus no 'status' attached to being a doctor. If you want to become a doctor, you become a doctor and you'll probably be a damn great doctor, because you're actually interested in helping people.

And if you're a doctor out of actual concern for your patients, then, obviously, you'll make sure you are the best doctor you can be, and make sure that you excell in your job and in all areas of it - and that includes writing out prescriptions.

Doctors in an Equal Money System will understand their responsibility within what it means to be a caretaker and to be entrusted with another's health and another's life - because their job is not a means to an end (money), but it is an end in itself. Avoidable mistakes that can lead to graver injury and even death due to illegible handwriting will therefore no longer occur - because doctors won't be caught up by their egos trying to get attention and recognition, but will have both feet on the ground.

Day 54: Government Intervention - Part 3

I commit myself to expose that any type of intervention within the current economic system completely useless – since we are changing some of the variables in the equation but the equation is still rooted within the same principle – as the principle of self-interest and gain – and whatever changes we implement within the system, will be rendered useless throughout time as self-interest will always prevail – as this is how we set up our system

I commit myself to show that the problem with economics is the very root, as the starting point of economics and the specific character role which has been assigned to humanity – where the starting point is to distribute limited resources in such a way as to attempt and satisfy unlimited wants of humans – where money is the deciding factor as to who gets to satisfy their wants/needs and who doesn’t – and where the human has taken on the role of the self-interested character who is allowed to do whatever it takes in the name of profit

I commit myself to expose that an economic system with the above equation and variables as its starting point can only result in disaster as it is based on unsustainable goals and the reckless/unreliable/irresponsible nature of the human being – having left out all and any consideration regarding any other beings but itself

I commit myself to expose that any action concerning change within the system for the betterment of Life on Earth is not in fact altruistic – as any change within the system is rendered useless by the overpowering authority which has been given to self-interest and the pursuit of happiness and so the only altruistic act, the only act of unconditional love would be the abolishment of the current world system and replace it with a system which is Best for All Life as the Equal Money System which Values Life, that which is real as the physical reality over Mind Delusions as Money

I commit myself to show that standing / support a cause which does not cause the replacement of the current world system is useless and will most likely only bring more suffering as the workings of the current world system as the reflection of the mind is not understood

I commit myself to the education of the human being so all may see/realise/understand how this reality actually operates as it is merely reflecting / mimicking the workings of the Mind

I commit myself to expose that we cannot sustain our current world system as it was not designed with sustainability in Mind and thus the best thing we can do is release ourselves from the current world system as it is a parasite sucking the Life out of Planet Earth and all the living beings as plants, animals and humans – and so I commit myself to remove the parasite and replace it with a system of Support as the Equal Money System where NONE are left behind

I commit myself to the redefinition of economics – where the starting point of economics is no longer that of the limited anthropocentric view of life, but a starting point of Biocentrism* where Life is put as the centre cause and where the Human no longer plays the role of Self-Interested Agent looking out to satisfy his own desires, but is placed in a position of Stewardship*/Custodianship – here to support other Life forms as itself within an Equal and One consideration and respect

*Biocentrism: Biocentrism states that nature does not exist simply to be used or consumed by humans, but that humans are simply one species amongst many,[4] and that because we are part of an ecosystem, any actions which negatively affect the living systems of which we are a part, adversely affect us as well,[4][5] whether or not we maintain a biocentric worldview.[4] Biocentrists believe that all species have inherent value, and that humans are not "superior" in a moral or ethical sense

*Stewardship is an ethic that embodies responsible planning and management of resources.

Day 39: Establishing Commitment - Can't Hide from Economics - Part 3

This blog is a continuation of :
Day 37: Can’t Hide from Economics - Part 1
Day 38: Realising Responsibility - Can’t Hide from Economics – Part 2

I commit myself to take full responsibility for myself and existence as myself within the realisation/understanding that it is in fact me – an extension which I have created of myself through my acceptances and allowances

I commit myself to rid myself of all likes and dislikes within myself within the realisation/understanding that these are illusionary opinions with no real value and keep me from seeing and working with what is really here, which is the physical as the Earth and all the living beings living on Earth

I commit myself to expose how we all have ever lived within and through Memory and have never in fact worked with the physical as what is here – with the Earth and the beings – where we only ever cared and tended to our mind needs as wants and desires – and never stopped to look around to see what really matters, which is the basic needs of everyone and everything on this Planet which we should all take care off, together – as we all share this physical plane and are responsible for the way we’ve accepted and allowed ourselves to create, form and mould the physical into what it is today

I commit myself to walk through the Veil of Illusion as the belief that our current economic system is the best we can do – where I commit myself to let go of these illusions and show / commit myself to a New World as the Equal Money System – the first economic system designed to take care of all equally – the way it should have always been

I commit myself to the end of all opinion so we may all agree – at last – that what matter is the Real Character as the Physical Body of all beings on Earth – and that we are all Equal within being Physical and should all be looked after and look after one another equally

I commit myself to engage myself and study economics within the realisation/understanding that money is the blood that flows through the network called economics which decides who lives and who dies – where the current economic system is distributing the life flow unequally – and thus this requires to be corrected so all may Live Life as what is Best for All

I commit myself to expose and show how everyone’s lives have been defined and controlled by economics – and that one cannot afford to not be ‘interested’ within economics – as this is like saying ‘I don’t care about whether all organs in my body receive sufficient blood to function’ – as this implies the inevitable demise of the individual as the Opinionated Character

I commit myself to show that the only thing which is Real within this existence is this Physical Plane which we can all touch and share together – while thoughts, emotions and feelings are illusionary figments of the imagination which come to an end at Death anyway – so why hold on to them

I commit myself to take responsibility for myself and the world and myself within taking on the economic system in the world – within the realisation that unless I do this I will always be enslaved

I commit myself to study and participate within the world of economics – so I may learn about myself and an aspect of the world as myself as the distribution of Life – so I may become aware of what I have accepted and allowed, forgive myself and correct myself and the world as myself within every moment of Breath – so we can finally establish a world which is Best for All, for REAL

Day 28: God Lives in My Heart

"In his book Sacred Economics, Charles Eisenstein point out that our notion of spirit “is that of something separate and nonworldly, that yet can miraculously intervene in material affairs, and that even animates and directs them in some mysterious way.”

“It is hugely ironic and hugely significant,” he continues, “that the one thing on the planet most closely resembling the forgoing conception of the divine is money. It is an invisible, immortal force that surrounds and steers all things, omnipotent and limitless, an ‘invisible hand’ that, it is said, makes the world go ’round.”

Or, if it so chooses, money can decide to make the world uninhabitable. It works in mysterious ways . .
"

Admin of 'B-Fair Project', 2012. 24 June 2012. http://www.b-fair.net/?p=4986

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing money as a separate, immaterial entity to direct my actions and control my life.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that I have accepted and allowed money to exist as an invisible force that secretly directs ingrains itself within my very beingness and from there directs and controls my every move.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that when I say 'God lives in my heart', I am actually talking about how I have allowed money to ingrain itself within my very beingness, where I accept and allow myself to be its humble follower in the belief that, in return, money as God will take care of me.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that an immaterial, immortal, omnipotent entity that directs the world in mysterious ways is what a God is - and currently money is the only thing that fits this description - therefore, Money is God in this world.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that the only God whose work is visible and traceable in this world, is Money.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that I worship money as my God without asking myself whether it is worth worshipping and whether allowing money as it currently exists, to live in my heart actually makes me a better person.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that allowing God as Money in your heart leads to the corruption of the 'soul'.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that blindly following Money as God - will lead us and our world to destruction.

I forgive myself for not accepting and allowing myself to realise that the consequence of valuing something immaterial more than life in and as the physical - will cause and manifest the destruction of the physical world, ourselves included - until we are but a forgotten thought.

I commit myself to stop the worshiping of God in all ways and change the value of Money to Life itself so that what is honoured is life, where Heaven can truly be manifested on Earth - instead of only valuing one's own ascension in to the divine realm.

I commit myself to show how Money is the only God that is truly and consistently worshiped, by all human beings on Earth and thus - that there really only exists one religion to which all human beings have subjugated themselves.

I commit myself to show even atheists are believers through their dedicated and unfaltering work for God as Money.

I commit myself to show how Money as God has got us by the balls and that if we don't re-assess what is really valuable in this world - we're marching straight towards our own destruction.

I commit myself to show how we have deluded ourselves into believing that anything can be more valuable than Life.

I commit myself to toss Money as God out of my heart and instead become, support and honour that which will actually make me a better person and make this world a better place.
