Have you Ever been Swept Off Your Feet?
In both cases – whether the bubble was inflated with positive or negative energy – the participants in the bubble are being swept away further and further away from actual physical reality and start to see everything either ‘extremely negatively’ or ‘extremely positively’ – neither experience is grounded in reality – because the physical is neither positive or negative – it just is what it is.
And Then You Crash – Meconomics
In this little series, we’ve been investigating the phenomenon of inflation, how we in our daily lives participate in ‘inflating our reality’ and so, how we are on a personal level participating in the same principles/dynamics that we see playing out on a bigger scale when it comes to inflation, speculative bubbles and financial market crashes.

Comfort, security and nurturing are all things we wish are present when a baby comes into this world. Yet, these conditions are not a reality for many babies, as parents themselves like these things in their lives. This was an excerpt of just one of the stories about the boy. Over the last few days, dozens have been written and published on various major news sites. What is more striking than the content of the posts, is the comments that are left on these articles. What is humanity’s response to such images, to such news?

Day 229: Can Equality only be Achieved through Inequality? | Equality and Human Rights – Part 7
These statements are either direct quotes or summarizations of lengthy statements which have been summarized for the sake of brevity from the book ‘Political Ideas’ compiled by S.L. Kant.
Within this blog we will be looking at the following statement, which mostly consists of a quote by Robert Nozick, who was an American political philosopher and strong proponent of the minimal-state:
Examples of this are:
- Legal Equality
- Political Equality
- Social Equality
- Equality of Opportunity
- Economic Equality
Within the context of Equal Money and the Equal Life Foundation, we only focus on one ‘kind’ of Equality, which is Equality as Life:
Thus, as we have seen in the previous blog Day 227: When is something Equal and Unequal? – Equality and Human Rights – Part 6, the only Equality which is relevant is that which is directly linked and connect to the support of Life, and the Inequalities which are relevant are those that hamper/diminish Life.
We will thus ignored the first part of the statement in terms of the statement referring to ‘Equality of Opportunity’ and we will take this as Equality in general.
So, within this statement a distinction is made between two particular groups, the ‘more favoured of opportunity’(Group A) and ‘those less favoured’ (Group B). The assumption is made that, in order to come to Equality, we have two options available:
1. Group A needs to be disadvantaged in order to be ‘level’ with Group B
2. Group B requires advancement in order to be ‘level’ with Group A
The writer states that, no matter which course we take – we end up ‘abusing’ Group A, because we either directly ‘disadvantage them’ or indirectly disadvantage them by ‘taking resource from them’ to provide support for Group B.
There are several points which require to be addressed with regards to the implications of this statement:
1. Narrow Definition of Equality: Equality as Sameness
2. False/Irrelevant Dilemma
3. Ideas and Values concerning Intervention (Interpretation of Inequality)
Narrow Definition of Equality: Equality as Sameness
This issue has been discussed in Day 225: Equality and Disinformation - Equality and Human Rights – Part 4, where it was said that:
Those who come from a more liberal point of view, tend to use the word Equality and Inequality, synonymously with ‘the same’ and ‘different’ respectively. Thus, whenever something is different – the argument is made that it is ‘unequal’. When something is ‘exactly the same’ – it is supposedly equal (Which explains where ludicrous statements such as ‘if you want to make people equal you will have to genetically disable the more able’ come from).
This leaves us on the one hand, with a very ‘black and white’ view on Equality -- Where two beings or more are equal only, if and when they are the same in every respect – and on the other hand a very broad view on that which is Unequal, where any two or more beings are ‘unequal’ the moment any form of ‘difference’ is exhibited. As we all know, there are many things that can be ‘different’ and thus it is easy to argue that something is ‘unequal’ when one places one’s definition of ‘Unequal’ equivalent to ‘Different’.
This is applicable to the particular statement we are discussing today, as the writer takes on a very limited view on Equality as Sameness where apparently to be ‘Equal’, those who are ‘more favoured’ require to be ‘unfavoured’ in some way or another to be just as ‘disadvantaged’ as everyone else. So if you would broadly split up humanity into for instance people who have complete physical functioning and those who were either born or through events ended up with some form of physical dysfunction or handicap – we would have to disable all those who are physically completely functional so that everyone can be dysfunctional / handicapped and thus ‘be the same’. In terms of Equality as Life, this is of course complete nonsense because this ‘Equality as Sameness’ as ‘Everyone being just as Dysfunctional/Disabled’ has got nothing to do with Supporting and Honouring Life and is thus not Real Equality. In fact, from an Equality as Life Perspective, this would constitute a Human Rights Violation because we are unnecessarily limiting Life for the sake of a Perverted Idea of Equality as Sameness.
False/Irrelevant Dilemma
The writer puts forward a False Dilemma within giving us an ‘either/or’ option to be able to achieve Equality. This Dilemma falls away instantaneously when we recalibrate our definition of Equality to that of Equality as Life. This is because the Dilemma stems from the narrow definition of Equality within looking and analyzing the situation from a purely homogenous perspective, where the writer’s conception of Equality as Sameness can only be achieved by either adding or extracting the variable which makes us heterogeneous/different, and as such this ‘dilemma’ is not Relevant to Equality as Life as these additions or extractions are not in function of the support of Life on Earth, and does have nothing to do with Actual Equality.
Ideas and Values concerning Intervention (Interpretation of Inequality)
This point relates to the author’s perception of outcome within intervening within the current allocation and distributive system of resources. Since physical resources are relevant to the support of Life on Earth, their allocation and distribution is relevant to the discussion of Equality. Within our current world system and established ‘way of life’ – resources are distributed through a system of merit and discrimination, where one needs to ‘pay up’ and ‘deserve’ resources before one’s Life is secured. Life Security is not a given, and made a variable/function of one’s ‘favorability’ -- to use the writer’s words – which can broadly be interpreted as one’s productive capacity (skills, talents, education) and productive background (social and economic).
Not all Life is nurtured and supported, where some beings are being allocated resources excessive of their actual physical needs and requirements – and where others are being allocated resources deficient of their physical needs and requirements, inhibiting their ability to sustain themselves as Life.
The writer is concerned that the distribution of resources in order to achieve Equality will result in a form of ‘diminishment’ and ‘worsening’ of one’s situation – which is often what is meant within saying that ‘Equality can only be achieved through Inequality’ – where the ‘taking of resources’ which are or could have been ‘someone else’s’, is a form of violation of a person’s integrity and value which is seen as an unacceptable sacrifice. In terms of the ‘concern’ factor as a ‘fear of abuse’, it is suggested to read the following Justice and Human Rights Series blog: Day 228: False Dilemma: Abuse or be Abused – Social Justice and Human Rights - Part 6, which explains how the fear aspect can easily be eliminated once we understand how we are able to work together and yet eliminate abuse.
Again, because the writer is coming from a view on Equality as Sameness, any change/alteration made to be an ‘inequality’, and thus by virtue of it being an ‘act of inequality’, would invalidate the very end of Equality (meaning, it is unacceptable to achieve Equality if it has to be done through Inequality).
Here, we simply again recalibrate our definition of Inequality to that of Inequality in Respect to Life, where Inequalities are only relevant/matter in so far that they hamper and reduce one’s ability to Live a Life of Quality. As such, any movement and distribution of resources towards the insurance and security of a Life of Quality for All on Earth, cannot possibly be deemed to be an act of ‘inequality’ as one’s ability to Live a Life of Quality is not being diminished in any way whatsoever, but merely being extended to everyone else on the Planet as well. Any movement of resources which would result in a lack or diminishment in one’s ability to Live a Life of Quality would be in violation of one’s Right to Life and would have to be immediately rectified.

Day 212: Everyone Needs a House - Why is a House not Guaranteed?
-- Michelle Dickens, A Disguised Threat, The Witness, p. 13. 06 April 2013.
Now - what do you need credit for? Anything from buying a car to buying a house/apartment. Although, currently, in South Africa, people have more and more started paying for daily expenditures such as food and clothing through credit as well.
Now - from those whose credit is in good standing - we have to remember that only a fraction of that segment will be able to actually afford something like a car or a house, because to have good credit doesn't mean that one has a income high enough to be able to get a loan or a bond large enough to be able to buy such things as cars and houses. So - we halve that amount - then we end up with 5,28 million adult South African citizens who can afford to buy a house or a car.
To have a house or an apartment is not a luxury - it's a basic necessity - everyone household should own one. Currently less than 10% of the South African population is capable of buying a house - one that isn't made of mud and sticks.
So - how is it that we think it is okay to have a market force decide on the distribution of something as necessary as housing? Where we end up with only a 5th of the population having access to the funds to buy a house?
If this is what we as a people think to be an effective way of distributing the goods and services that exist among the population - then yes, by all means - let's continue with what we have. But if you as I see the ludicrousness in this situation - then I suggest you investigate Equal Money Capitalism as an alternative way of distributing resources. A way where every household is guaranteed to have a house - lol, at least, then it would make sense to call it a 'household'.

Day 207: Will Equal Money Bring about a Utopia?
So - let's look at the Utopia point in this blog and in the next one look at the fascism point.
Will Equal Money Capitalism bring about a Utopia?
Introducing Equal Money will definitely change our society and solve many of the problems we have been struggling with for decades. Will it become a utopia, though?
You're still going to have to go to work. Your work environment will probably be different and you'll probably be doing something you actually like to do - and, hey, you might actually have a say in company policies. But, you're still going to have that alarm going off in the morning and you're going to have to show up for work every workday.
Pregnancies will still mess with your hormones, where you have to suddenly cry for no reason or have weird cravings or feel tired. Though, you'll have a qualified medical team to support you and so will your neighbor and every other woman.
Your house won't clean itself. You're still going to have to get your hands dirty to keep your household in order. Though, you'll have the comfort of knowing that it's the same for everyone else, since there will probably be no-one who wants to go clean up after another - so, cleaning will just be part of living in the physical world.
You'll still have to study and apply yourself in everything you do if you want to be effective in it. If you want to make something of yourself and your life, you'll have to work for it. And you might need to try out a whole range of different things to discover where you 'fit in'. Though, with Equal Money, everyone will have an equal opportunity to do this.
You'll still get sick - snotty nose, fever, diarrhea - those annoying physical conditions will still visit us from time to time. But you'll have your proper healthcare and a schooling system that is geared towards educating you to be informed about how to prevent as much illness as you can.
So, for those who are worried that Equal Money Capitalism is too much of a utopic idea - don't worry - life will still suck from time to time. But the main stress-point of worrying about money will be removed - which will make life so much more enjoyable.
It's not because we're showing a different way of living, a different way of organizing our society - a way that provides results that are best for all - that we're naive or utopic. It just means we haven't given up yet and that we are not interested in settling for anything less. Why should we settle for anything less? For some, Equal Money Capitalism might not bring about that much of a change at all - those that have a life of security will see it being continued. But for soooo many others, it would mean living a secure life for the first time. Does that make us evil? Does that make us stupid?
Did you know there's children in poor countries who think that there's something wrong with the world just for a moment, which makes it that they can't have food and a house to live in, that makes it that they have to work so that the family can make ends meet? And did you know they think that the people in rich countries are working every day to try to fix the problem so that they don't have to live like that anymore? I mean - let's do that - let's fix the problem.

I commit myself to show that no economy can be successful where there are winners and losers – unless all are provided for equally within the consideration of what is Best for All Life – the economy has failed
I commit myself to show that competition is a scam as there is in no way a form of ‘equal opportunity’ existent within our current world scenario – and so every competition is rigged and pre-determined from the start – where those who have will keep on having and where those who don’t will keep on lacking
I commit myself to show that competition as a drive for the economy in order to produce “good” services and goods is completely inefficient and wastes a lot of energy – as there are now several corporations/companies who will make the same thing in different ways, with different looks, with a different ‘character’ yet providing in essence the same product/service – where instead of having one product that works best, that works for all -- we have x amount of different companies producing the same thing and within their own firm creating another x amount of different variations of the same thing – and if one firms product even closely resembles the product of another firm – even more resources get wasted into court trials and whatnot because “they created something which looks like what I made, and I am the only one allowed to make profit/benefit from this ‘invention’ “ – all in all resulting in an economic system of waste where we are creating so many different variations of the same thing in the hope that we’ll be the one dominating the market – all for the sake of profit and catering for a lifestyle of consumerism as the illusion of Free Choice – but as all economists should know: "There Ain’t No Such Thing as a Free Lunch" – and so our Free Choices come at a Price as Consequence – Are you ready to face the price tag?
I commit myself to show that an economic system driven by principle as ‘Do unto another as you would like to be done unto yourself’ can work more efficient than an economic system driven by competition as ‘I’ll stab you in the back before you can stab me’
I commit myself to show that if our Human Body which works as a ‘world on its own’ can provide for 50 trillion citizens as all the various cells which together make up the body – we can create an equally efficient system as our World Economy within creating a System that caters to All and where All take care of one another
I commit myself to show that our current political system is as rigged as the economic system – where we have the illusion that apparently ‘politics is for everyone’ – but where in the end politics is only for those with money – where for a moment during elections and campaigns the politicians will pretend to care about what you have to say – while at the same time controlling and brainwashing your say through advertisement and other PR stunts – resulting in an orchestrated game where the winner is already pre-determined – just as in the economic competition game – as it has been proven over and over again that whoever spends the most on their campaigns and imprint themselves into the minds of the people will win the elections
I commit myself to show that we cannot expect government officials – whether politicians or bureaucrats – to act within a way that serves the people, if we ourselves are not willing and finding ourselves able to change our nature and act in a way that is Best for All – and within that I commit myself to show that there is no point in blaming the politicians for all the ‘bad things’ they are doing if one is not willing to step up and do what it takes within the economic and political processes to bring about World Change to what is Best for All
I commit myself to show that we cannot blame the government officials for being corrupt and abusing money as each one of us abused money every day within hogging our money and spending it on consumerism where we have accepted and allowed ourselves to have been corrupted by advertisement and media – where we accepted and allowed ourselves to be lured in by all the pretty pictures and promises of happiness – and within that failed to check our priorities where within having been so pre-occupied with buying happiness we have completely ignored our fellow human beings who do not have the luxury of playing the consumerism game, where every moment we spend our energy and attention towards consumerism, those who have not are sinking deeper and deeper into shit
I commit myself to show that it is not a matter of the private or public sector handling the economy – but a matter of principle – where currently economy and politics have taken on as their task the distribution of resources and values respectively – and where both have accepted and allowed themselves to distribute these using the principle of Money and never the principle of Equality – where as long as we allow Money to decide where we place our resources/values – we will have an unsatisfactory system, unless of course, we have Equal Money as the principle of Equal Life Value
I commit myself to show that a world where Crime will be as good as non-existent, since crime is merely another way of Cry-Me – where the criminal is crying out to a corrupt world forcing his hand into corrupt actions – and so as long as we do not take responsibility of our Corrupt System which in its very essence is a ‘Money Magnet’ within only catering for those with money – we are all responsible for every single crime that happens
I commit myself to show that trying to fix the system by ‘tweaking’ at it here and there is not going to change a thing, as the very core of the system will still run through the same equation as inequality – and so no matter how much we tweak at the details, the system will simply re-align itself right back to where it was before – or worse
I commit myself to show that there are barely any economists out there in world who have a solution for the economic crisis in our world – because they are not even aware of the problem because they have yet to question their own value system of inequality – and because they are unable to see the problem with our rotten system, they will be unable to come up with any viable solution unless they themselves face their rotten core of Valuing Self over All Other Life
I commit myself to show that the Equal Money System is the answer to our all of our Economic Problems
